Use case
Extract the Carta Porte complement into a spreadsheet
Upload transport CFDIs with Carta Porte complement 3.x — XML or PDF — and get a validated table with UUID, carrier, route, goods, permit and driver details.
For Logistics operators and trucking companies, plus their billing and compliance teams.
The problem today
The Carta Porte complement is a mandatory node on Mexican transport CFDIs (traslado or ingreso) that documents the goods being moved, the route, the vehicle and the driver. Today teams review each complement by opening the XML or its printed version one at a time, hand-copying the UUID, the carrier's RFC, the SCT/SICT federal permit, the plates and the driver's details into a spreadsheet. It is slow, error-prone and hard to audit before stamping or before the truck rolls. One missing value — the permit number, the driver's license or the SAT product code — can invalidate the complement and expose you to fines or to the unit being detained. Reconciling the PDF against the XML to catch discrepancies only adds to the load.
What Tablora extracts and validates
Every document is a row; every column, an instruction.
How it works
- 1
Upload your transport CFDIs
Load the XML and PDF of your traslado or ingreso CFDIs with Carta Porte complement 3.x. Each document becomes a row in the spreadsheet.
- 2
Define columns as instructions
Use the mx-carta-porte template or write your own columns in plain language: UUID, carrier, origin/destination, goods, SAT code, weight, SCT/SICT permit, plates and driver.
- 3
Validate and review with citations
Tablora catches values that invalidate the complement and marks each row Valid, Review or Invalid, citing the XML node or PDF page with a confidence level.
- 4
Export to Excel or your system
Download the table as Excel or CSV, or integrate it with CONTPAQi, SAP or QuickBooks for transport control and billing.
Validation layer
Not just extraction — validation
- Detects a missing or malformed UUID in the digital tax stamp (Timbre Fiscal Digital)
- Flags a missing or invalid carrier or driver RFC
- Identifies a missing SCT/SICT permit number or type
- Flags missing plates or vehicle configuration in the vehicle identification
- Detects drivers without a federal driver's license number
- Alerts on missing SAT product codes (c_ClaveProdServCP), gross weight or distance, and on PDF-vs-XML discrepancies
Frequently asked questions
What is the Carta Porte complement and why extract it into a spreadsheet?
The Carta Porte 3.x complement is the node on a Mexican transport (traslado) or income (ingreso) CFDI that proves the legal possession and transport of goods by federal motor carrier. Extracting it into a spreadsheet lets you control, reconcile and audit hundreds of complements at once, instead of opening each XML or PDF separately.
Does Tablora read the XML or only the printed PDF?
Both. It takes data straight from the Carta Porte XML nodes — such as cartaporte:Autotransporte, FiguraTransporte and Mercancias — and from the printed PDF representation. Comparing the two sources is how it catches PDF-vs-XML discrepancies.
Which Carta Porte fields are extracted?
UUID, voucher type and complement version, issuer and carrier RFC, transport type, origin and destination with dates and times, distance traveled, goods with their SAT product code, gross weight, SCT/SICT permit, plates, vehicle configuration and the driver's RFC and license number.
How does it detect values that invalidate the complement?
The validation layer reviews each row and assigns a status of Valid, Review or Invalid. It flags a missing UUID, malformed RFCs, a missing SCT/SICT permit, missing plates, a driver without a license, a missing SAT product code and other exceptions — each with a citation so your team can confirm before the truck rolls or the CFDI is stamped.
